Le Balcon - Myrtille Debièvre

Myrtille Debièvre studied visual arts at the University of Aix-en-Provence from 2001 to 2003, then joined the theater studies program to design sets but also to discover stage management as well as dramatic interpretation. After a Master's degree in scenography, Myrtille Debièvre joined the Andalusian Theater Center and its school of performance techniques in Seville. There she studied set construction and machinery. She completed her studies with a year of study in Krakow in a set construction workshop for opera and theater. She worked for two years at the Avignon Opera (2009-2011) as a props master. In 2013, she met the team of Le Balcon and collaborated on the production of Péter Eötvös' opera and in 2015 on La Métamorphose by Michaël Levinas. From 2016 to 2019, she was in charge of general management of the Balcon productions, before returning to scenography for the operas Dienstag aus Licht and Au Cœur de l’océan (2021).
