Elsa Seger

Originally from Metz, Elsa Seger joined the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in 2011 where she studied viola with Sabine Toutain. She plays regularly with the Paris Opera Orchestra, the Paris Chamber Orchestra, the National Orchestra of France, the Frivolités Parisiennes, and in the region with the National Orchestra of Lille, Metz, and Pays de Savoie. With Le Balcon, where she has been performing for over ten years, she has participated in numerous productions and premieres, such as Au Cœur de l’Océan and Like Flesh at the Lille Opera, La Petite Boutique des Horreurs at the Opéra Comique, and Sonntag aus Licht at the Philharmonie de Paris. Elsa Seger is also a member of the artistic committee of the Yellow Socks Orchestra, an orchestra specializing in film and screen music, where she also plays principal viola. She regularly collaborates with various chamber music ensembles and jazz groups, and founded the Paris Swing Quartet in 2019. Holder of the Teaching Aptitude Certificate, she taught at the Conservatoire du 13e arrondissement in Paris.
