Eun Joo Lee

Trained in Seoul, South Korea, Eun-Joo Lee arrived in Paris at the age of 18 where she continued her studies in the class of R. Daugareil at the CNSMD. Having obtained her Master's degree, she joined the Performing Artist Diploma specializing in contemporary music and perfected her skills with Hae-Sun Kang. Subsequently, she developed her qualities as a versatile musician, performing solo but also in chamber music with the Sacher Trio, the Elysée Quartet, as well as in ensembles such as Le Balcon, the Ensemble Intercontemporain in France or the Blank Ensemble in South Korea. As a soloist, she performed the concerto for violin and orchestra "L'Arbre des Songes" by H. Dutilleux in 2014 at the Cité de la Musique with the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire under the baton of P. Aïche. She has been invited to participate in numerous festivals such as the Messiaen Festival in the Meije region, the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival, Pablo Casals in Prades, Cordes en Ballade, and the Grange aux Pianos Festival. A laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation between 2015 and 2018, she is currently the second soloist of the second violins in the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra.
