Giani Caserotto

Guitarist, composer and improviser, Giani Caserotto works on the relationships between writing and improvisation, classical and popular music. He holds 5 first prizes from the Conservatoire de Paris in guitar, generative improvisation, harmony, 20th century writing and counterpoint, and currently teaches guitar there. He also studied composition with Jean-Yves Bosseur. Giani Caserotto performs in France and around the world, solo and in several groups, in contemporary music (ensemble Le Balcon), improvised music (Onceim, duo with Linda Oláh) and jazz (Théo Ceccaldi Freaks). He is a founding member of the group Cabaret Contemporain, which mixes acoustic and electronic music.
