Julie Fuchs

Considered the "new voice of opera" with "silky high notes and a voluptuous middle range," soprano Julie Fuchs has established herself as one of the most versatile artists of our time, dazzling audiences in the world's greatest opera houses and concert halls. She began her musical and theater training in Avignon and graduated with distinction and unanimously from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. She won second prize at Operalia in 2013 and received two Victoires de la Musique awards in 2012 and 2014.
During the 2019/20 season, Julie made her anticipated debut as Fatime and Emilie in a new production of Les Indes Galantes at the Paris Opera, and she returned to the Opernhaus Zurich for her debut role as Norina in a new production of Don Pasquale. She remains in Zurich for her third role debut as Zdenka in Strauss's Arabella, and then makes her debut as Despina in Così fan tutte at the Vienna State Opera. She returns to the Paris Opera to conclude her operatic season with Musetta in La bohème.
