Pascale Lavandier

After studying architecture and fashion design, Pascale Lavandier began as a costume assistant for operas, then as a costume designer for Michel Puig and Mikhael Lonsdale. Five creations with François Rancillac followed, including Le Fils by Christian Rullier, winner of the Printemps du Théâtre, Le nouveau Menoza by Jakob Lenz at the Avignon Festival, Polyeucte by Corneille at the Théâtre de Genevilliers. She then collaborated with Catherine Dasté for numerous creations at the Théâtre des Quartiers d’Ivry and for Les rencontres Jacques Copeau, the festival she founded in Burgundy. At the same time, Pascale Lavandier creates for various directors, musicians and choreographers. She works for television creations, films and shows including Nulle part ailleurs on Canal +. She joined the Balcon from its birth and participated in the creation of numerous operas, Le Balcon by Peter Eötvös, La Métamorphose by Michael Levinas, Le Premier meurtre by Arthur Lavandier, Au Coeur de l’Océan by Blondy and Lavandier, Dienstag aus Licht Samstag and Sonntag by Karlheinz Stockhausen.
