Yann Chapotel
Video Designer
Yann Chapotel studied Cinema at the University of Paris VIII in Saint-Denis. With the democratization of video creation tools, he moved away from traditional production and storytelling methods, his language taking the path of formal experimentation, particularly around the theme of time and its representation. He has also been creating video scenographies since 2012, mainly for operas. He works regularly with Le Balcon, Jacques Osinski and Benjamin Lazar. In 2015, he won the Prix de la Critique for best creator of scenic elements for a musical show, a production combining two operas, Avenida de Los Incas 3518 by Fernando Fizsbein and Lohengrin by Salvatore Sciarrino.
