Iris Zerdoud
Iris Zerdoud entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in 2007 in the class of Pascal Moraguès and Jean-François Verdier, and obtained her master's degree there in 2012. It was at the conservatory that she joined Le Balcon, from its inaugural concert in 2008. Since 2013, she has been responsible for the production of the ensemble's concerts and operas. Since 2018, Iris Zerdoud has collaborated on the Licht cycle as a soloist, playing the role of Eve. She participates in Donnerstag aus Licht at the Opéra Comique and the Southbank Centre in London, in Freitag aus Licht at the Opéra de Lille and the Philharmonie de Paris, and now in Montag aus Licht, which she studies with Suzanne Stephens. Iris Zerdoud plays a Buffet Crampon bassethorn loaned by La Fugue – Europera.
