Le Balcon

Le Balcon presents the first two cycles of composer Arthur Lavandier’s Légendes. A regular collaborator with Le Balcon, Lavandier is particularly well known to Lille audiences for his operas Le Premier Meurtre (2016) and La Légende du Roi Dragon (2018).

A great lover of tales and legends, Arthur Lavandier has devised a series of short cycles of Legends for voice and instrument, each comprising three texts by three different authors written on a theme proposed by the composer himself. Two of these cycles will be premiered at this concert.
