Le Balcon

The exhibition Organique will showcase botanical videos that capture the essence of life in a gentle, contemporary way. Like subtle ripples, these videos will be displayed on a printed frieze revealing the beauty of the infinitely small in the plant world. They will be complemented by flowerbeds specially selected for the occasion. Maillol’s iconic bronze Flore will take centre stage for the duration of the exhibition. Goethe’s reflections on the Metamorphosis of Plants will inspire the whole event, with a soundscape composed for the occasion and concerts on the closing weekend in keeping with the theme.

Le Balcon will perform a selection of musical works inspired by the poetry of gardens and the muses and goddesses featured in the exhibition.
