Le Balcon

Dracula, a monumental fresco in 8 episodes, fusing excerpts from recordings of Wagner's opera with electronic music, is conceived as a "film without image".

In its original version, the fusion is achieved through both the musical material and the medium: in both cases, the tracks are played through loudspeakers. Their mode of presentation is determined by the same action of the performer at the sound console. Le Balcon presents here a version featuring an instrumental and electronic ensemble.
