To mark the ‘Mark Rothko’ exhibition, the German-British composer and pianist Max Richter takes up residence at the Fondation Louis Vuitton for a unique programme. This original programme, comprising concerts and musical walk-throughs, unfolds in three phases during the exhibition: in November 2023, January and March 2024.
Max Richter makes full use of the Fondation’s spaces. In the exhibition galleries, a musical journey curated by the composer presents an original dimension of his work. Recorded and then played as a soundscape throughout the spaces, his work Unity Fields II is performed live by some twenty musicians from the Le Balcon ensemble in several galleries, alongside concerts of Unity Fields I in the Auditorium.
