Suzanne Meyer

Dancer, Dancer

Born in Arpajon, France, Suzanne Meyer entered the classical ballet corp of Opéra national de Paris at just nine years old. In 2002 she joined the Higher Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris, where her love of contemporary dance flourished.

Fascinated by the aesthetics of cabaret, from 2008 to 2012 she performed with the Crazy Horse troupe, travelling around the world and working with choreographer Philippe Découflé. Since 2012, projects have included Rameau’s Platée at the Opéra Comique (2014), original choreography with Nicolas Paul of Opéra national de Paris, events for Hermès and the Cannes Film Festival, and Bollywood film Befikre.

Meyer’s role as Eve in Donnerstag aus Licht began in 2018. She worked closely for nine months on the project with dancer Emmanuelle Grach.
