Alice Caubit

Clarinetist

Alice Caubit studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur
in Paris. While there, she toured several times with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and on graduating, she became a clarinettist with the Orchester de la Garde Républicaine in Paris.

She has appeared regularly with Paris-based orchestras (National Orchestra of Île de France, Radio France Orchestra, orchestra of the Paris Opera) and more widely in France with the orchestra of Tour Opera, and the Auvergne Orchestra. She also collaborates with composer Marc-Olivier Dupin on several

music and theater projects – Folie Courteline, L’histoire de Clara, Le grand Rendez-vous, 100 fables pour 200 compositeurs.

Caubit teaches at the Conservatory of music in Clichy-sous-Bois, and works on the Philharmonie de Paris’ Démos Project.

With Le Balcon, she perfomed in Pierre Henry’s Dracula and Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Donnerstag aus Licht at the Opéra-Comique in 2018. In June 2019 she will perform Samstag aus Licht at the Philharmonie de Paris.
