Born in 1986, Ghislain Roffat has just completed his studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he won several prizes, including the prestigious Léon Leblanc prize.

Roffat has led the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Ensemble intercontemporain and the Opéra national de Paris and has performed under internationally renowned conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Philippe Jordan, Susanna Mälkki and Peter Eötvös, among others.

Committed to chamber music repertoire, he is laureate of the FNAPEC international ensemble competition, while his passion for contemporary repertoire led him to collaborate with Le Balcon.

Roffat is also a qualified teacher of the clarinet.
